A commitment to care for nearly 70,000 Knox County citizens who are 60 years or older. The county operates senior centers in West (Frank Strang Senior Center) and East Knox County (Corryton). The county also provides funding for the John T. O’Connor Center that is operated by the City of Knoxville. Currently, the county is funding the construction of two new senior centers to provide programming in North (Halls) and South Knox County.
