The Planning & Development Division manages all activities within the County  relating to new development and construction of subdivisions, homes, and businesses. All new construction and new grading must be reviewed and approved by this division prior to beginning construction. This division is responsible for review of all  proposed road openings and closings. The Planning & Development Division inspects all roadway and drainage activities for all new  subdivision and commercial construction. This division works with the Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC).
